That's great that you took the first step to reach out to another member! It's brave to make that first move and we're sure you will definitely meet ladies this way.

There could be several reasons that you haven't received a response:

1. The lady may not have seen the message. (This article will show you how to know if someone has read/seen your message!)

2. The lady may have left or taken a break from the community

3. She may be shy to respond

4. She may not be looking for a speaking partner and has decided to simply not respond (that's not great but it's a possibility!)

Please don't give up! There are hundreds of ladies in this community and we would suggest you attend as many events as possible. In events, you will meet other ladies and find potential speaking partners. Our Community Team also host events for ladies who are specifically looking for Speaking Partners such as our Daily Speaking Practice events.
