If you are feeling nervous about joining your first conversation event, you may join as a listener. We ask you to only join events that our team (Coaches or Community Managers) are hosting as a listener and to send them a message beforehand to let them know that you are only listening.

Out of respect for members on the platform, do not attend events hosted by other members if you are only going to listen. Often there are limited spaces at these events, so please help the host to have active participants in her event!

However, while the majority of our events are live, interactive, conversations, some are strictly listen-only, such as our Office Hours, Grammar Spot and Conversation over Coffee events which are in webinar style. You can find these events using the filter Listen Only.
