On our Events page, you can narrow down and find specific events. These icons on the All Events page lets you quickly see events based on coach evevnts, duration, group study, listen only and in-person events.

But if you want to get even more specific, click Filters to narrow down your search!

Below is an explanation of each one you can select:

Time

Any Time: Show all events available (even if outside your available times)
Available when I am: Show all events that are only within the available times set in your profile

Host

Hosted By Anyone: Show all events hosted by anyone
Hey Lady! Team: Show events hosted by the Hey Lady! team (coaches or community managers)
People I follow: Show events hosted by people you follow
HL! Members: Show events by members (not part of the Hey Lady! team)
HL! Coach: Show events hosted by Hey Lady! Coaches and Emma
Big Sisters: Show events hosted by one of our community volunteers (learn more about Big Sisters here!)

Event Type

All Event Types: Show all event types
Conversations: Show conversational events that are focused on speaking practice and meeting speaking partners
Study & Learn: Show events that are focused on studying particular grammar, topics or upskilling
Deep Dive: Show events that let you practise and apply skills taught in our Deep Dive Workbook! 
Professional: Show events that are related to specific skills for professional settings
Listen Only: Show events that are listen-only and don't require your camera or microphone to participate
In Person: Show in-person events and meetups in cities around the world!
NM Welcome: Show events specifically to help new members get started!

English Level

Any Level: Show events that are suitable for intermediate or advanced English learners
Intermediate: Show events that are suitable for intermediate English learners (B1 & B2)
Advanced: Show events that are for advanced English learners (C1 & C2)

Advanced Filters:

Duration: Show events based on how much time you have to practise! From 15 minutes to over 2 hours!
Event Date: Use the calendar to find events happening on certain dates!
Personal Interests: Show events based on certain personal interests
English Interests: Show events based on different goals and skills in English 
Occupation: Show events based on different careers, jobs and industries
Topic Type: Show events related to a Hey Lady! Conversation Topic

Full Events

When events are full and no more participants can save a seat or click 'I will attend', they are hidden from the Events page. Toggle this filter to see those full events!
