You're welcome to join any event that interests you and suits your schedule, but the first two events that we recommend you join are:

1. A New Member Welcome event run by our Community Team
2. Any event that is hosted by a Big Sister (an experienced member who volunteers inside the community)

These events are great places for you to meet someone from our community team plus other new members, get a tour of some important features on the platform and have any of your questions answered about getting started!

1. Go to the Events section

2. Select Filters

3. Under Event Types, select NM Welcome
