🔋 What is a Streak Charge?
A streak charge is a reward you earn for showing up consistently - and it saves your active streak if you ever miss a week. We know that life happens sometimes, and a streak charge is Hey Lady!'s way of making sure one busy week does not undo all of your hard work.
Think of it like a get-out-of-jail-free card - an extra chance to save your streak in an emergency.
If you miss a week and your active streak would normally reset to zero, you can use a streak charge to save it. Your streak continues as if nothing happened!
How do you earn a Streak Charge?
Streak charges are earned automatically - no extra effort needed.
Here's how it works:
Each week you join at least one live video call, your active streak grows by one.
After four consecutive active weeks, you earn one streak charge.
If you break your streak before reaching four weeks, the count resets and you start again.
Fully charged! Four active weeks in a row = one streak charge ready to use.
How do you use a streak charge?
If you miss a week, do not panic! Here is what to do:
Open the streak icon - you will see a notification that your active streak is broken.
If you have a charge available, you will see the option to apply it.
Click Use Streak Charge and your active streak is saved - just like that! ✨
Using a streak charge is optional - it is your choice whether to apply it or start your streak fresh. There is no wrong answer!
⚡ How do you recharge?
Once you have used your charge, your little battery starts refilling straight away. It works exactly the same way as before - stay active for four consecutive weeks and it will be fully charged again, ready for the next time you need it.
