🎯 What are Streaks?

A streak is simply the number of times you did something in a row. Inside Hey Lady!, streaks measure how consistently you practise using English week after week. There are two types, your active streak and your weekly goal streak, and together they help you build a healthy, confidence-boosting English habit!

Meet your two Streaks

You have two streaks working for you - one that celebrates your consistency with the community, and one that is your own personal challenge.

🔥 Your Active Streak: showing up for yourself and your Hey Lady! friends

Your active streak grows every week you join at least one live video call - a coach session, a workshop, a coffee table chat. It truly does not matter how long you stay. What matters is that you showed up!

  • Counts the weeks in a row you joined at least one live video call

  • Any call counts - a class, a scheduled event, or a live coffee table

  • Any length counts - five minutes or five hours!

  • Miss a full week? Your streak resets to zero and you start fresh

Every call you join makes Hey Lady! a warmer, more welcoming place for everyone. We are a team here - and your streak shows it!

🎯 Your Weekly Goal Streak: your personal challenge

This tracks how many weeks in a row you completed the goal you set for yourself!

This one is just for you - only you can see it! Your weekly goal streak tracks how many weeks in a row you have completed the event goal you set for yourself. Think of it as a little promise to yourself, renewed every Monday.

  • Counts how many weeks in a row you hit your personal event goal

  • Your goal = the number of events you want to attend each week (Mon–Sun)

  • You choose your goal - and you can change it whenever you like

  • Missed your goal this week? No stress - it simply resets and a new week begins!

How to set or update your weekly goal

  1. Tap or click the streak icon.

  2. Choose the number of events you want to attend each week.

  3. Done! Your goal saves automatically.

Our recommendation

Start with two events per week. It is achievable, it feels great to hit, and you can always increase it when you are ready. The goal is to feel successful, not overwhelmed!

Goals run Monday to Sunday. If you miss your goal one week, your streak simply restarts - no guilt, no drama! The most important thing is to keep going.
